My First Blog Post!

Welcome to my first blog post!

I have been wanting to start one for a loooong time, but I have had this fear of being judged, criticized and not having anything valuable to share. But with everything going on in the world right now, why should I care about others opinions about me. This is something I have been longing to do, so here I am. I have vowed to be vulnerable and share my journey with y’all.

I am so excited to have this blog as an outlet to share personal stories about motherhood. I am a boy mom to two little ones 17-months apart. A question I get a lot is “how do you do it?”

It’s definitely not easy. Every day brings on a new adventure and challenge. Motherhood is a bit chaotic, takes a large amount of patience, plays with your emotions, but most of all, is the most rewarding journey that any individual can embark on.

I absolutely love being a mom and raising my little nibblets, but sometimes being a stay-at-home mom can be lonely and crazy. My days consist of talking to a toddler, making sure my 10-month old doesn’t choke on anything and disciplining the dog for stealing all the leftover snacks left around. Sometimes I just want a friend, co-worker, adult to just comment on how my 2-year old resembles a drunk man (just observe your child for a minute and you’ll notice the resemblance).

This blog will be a place that I plan on sharing my motherhood journey and what it’s like to raise two boys, especially so close in age. I’ll share my tips and tricks on what I have learned along the way, with some kids fashion tips, mommy hacks, activities, and other fun things! I want to build a community to share stories mom-to-mom (or dad-to-mom, that’s all right too), give advice, and simply laugh at the wonderful humans we created .

Thank you for visiting my blog, and I hope that you follow along on this exciting, but also nerve-wracking journey.
